Below is a link to the video replay and presentation for the webinar I conducted on “How To Put Your Facebook Page On Auto-Pilot” on 26 June 2013. I put this webinar together to deal with a common issue amongst Facebook Page Administrators – that being Facebook OVERWHELM!
It is easy to fall into the time-suck of Facebook and the other social media platforms. As small businesses owners, we have a lot of work to do both working in and on our business and as a result, we cannot afford to be on Facebook ALL DAY. However, sometime it feels like we are!
In this video I will share with you the simple strategies I have successfully implemented to get rid of Facebook Overwhelm and how you can put your Facebook Page on Auto-pilot, or so to speak, so that you have more time to spend on doing what you do best – and that is running your business!
In this video I take you through the following steps:
- Source Content
- Create Content
- Content Calendar
- Craft Updates
- Post Updates
- Respond To Alerts
- Engage And Convert
Whilst I have present these are a series of steps, in reality none are done in isolation and you will need to continually switch between the steps, such as listening, sourcing content and responding to alerts. However, I have set this out as a guide to assist you to not only decrease the amount of time you spend sourcing and creating valuable content to share on Facebook, but more importantly ensure that the content that you are sharing is strategic and systematic in terms of it’s timeliness and assistance in achieving your overall business goals to increase the likelihood of you achieving Facebook Business Success.

As part of the webinar, I mentioned several programs and apps that I use to assist in creating, capturing, editing, filing, sorting and being able to readily access content for sharing via Facebook. I also crowd sourced some apps that people on the webinar also found useful for editing images. You can find a full list of those programs and apps here.
Ready to put Facebook to work for your business?
At the end of the webinar I invited those in attendance to join me in FB Business Success online training program. The program is currently $275, but it will be increasing to $295 as of the new financial year, which is only a couple of days away. Purchasing the program now also comes with the added bonus that it can be a tax deduction if you are eligible to claim for professional development as part of your tax return.
In addition to this, anyone that signs up to FB Business Success between the time of the webinar and midnight 30 June will go in a special draw to win a Facebook Page Video Audit from me. If I was to do a video audit in isolation, I usually charge $250, so it is well worth the investment and your odds will be quite good. Those people that have received an individualised Facebook Page audit so far as part of the FB Business Success program are raving about how much of a boost it has given to their Page, so if you have been holding off on taking your Facebook Page to the next level, now is a great time to sign up!
