COVID Recovery Program

Impactiv8 played an essential part in building resilience and recovery for Victorian small businesses as they navigated the most challenging business environment throughout the pandemic.

Impactiv8 was the leading provider of Mentoring Services for the Victorian Chamber of Commerce Business Recovery & Resilience Mentoring Program, delivering 7,312 hours of free 2hr digital marketing mentoring sessions to 1,122 Victorian Small Businesses between 2020-2022.

There were approximately 200 mentors as part of this program, across about 150 businesses, yet Impactiv8 managed to deliver 80% of the sessions for the entire program. This was largely due to the promotional campaigns we ran to attract mentees, as well as the exceptional service we delivered, which gave us the much deserved reputation as “the best”.

I was the brainchild and driving force behind Click Engage Convert, which was formerly Melbourne’s premier digital marketing conference for small businesses. This event was held in 2018 and 2019 in the city of Melbourne for 250 attendees.

I drove all aspects of this initiative from concept through to execution with meticulous attention to detail. I curated an exceptional speaker lineup and coordinated a small but mighty team to deliver an exceptional event that people are still talking about today.

I was co-host of Business Addicts The Podcast with Fiona Redding of The Happiness Hunter from 2015 to 2022. I was also the producer of the show, publishing 127 episodes during this time. One of the highlights of this period was making it to Number 1 in the Business category on iTunes and being named a finalist in the Australian Podcast Awards in 2019.

As the Impactiv8 team grew, I had a strong need to be able to access a flexible workspace that would be able to accommodate my team as our needs changed over time, as well as provide all the facilities we required.
